Northeast Program Coordinator

Job Description
Musicians On Call (MOC) is a nonprofit organization that brings live and recorded music to the bedsides of patients in healthcare environments. The Program Coordinator is a full-time, non-exempt position responsible for overseeing volunteer experience, MOC Bedside and hospital partnerships within the New York and Philadelphia metro areas. The Program Coordinator will work with the Vice President of Programs and Team to continue to evolve and strengthen the new technology-focused program delivery model of MOC. This position will report to the Sr. Program Manager and be based in Nashville, TN or work remotely based in New York City or Philadelphia metro areas. This full-time position will have a starting annual salary of $40,000-$45,000.
Program Management Responsibilities
- Oversee MOC Bedside programs and hospital relationships in assigned markets such as New York City and Philadelphia
- Serve as the liaison between volunteers and hospitals in assigned markets and maintain MOC values and company culture
- Onboard new volunteers, assist with program placement as needed and communicate any changes or updates to volunteers in assigned markets in a timely manner
- Manage communication, scheduling, and overall experience of all new and existing volunteers in assigned markets
- Identify new ways to increase impact and elevate program experience for hospitals and patients
- Support sponsor relationships in assigned markets, as needed, by providing stats, volunteer and hospital testimonials, general program information, and more as requested
- Manage and regularly update applications, records, and statistics through Salesforce and MOC’s program platform
- Work with the Sr. Program Manager to coordinate special visits and events as needed in assigned markets
Minimum Qualifications Required
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal — bilingual (Spanish/English) highly preferred
- Disciplined self-starter who can set and achieve goals with a passion for and interest in learning more about the nonprofit world
- Ability to prioritize projects, meet deadlines, manage several projects simultaneously and work well under pressure

- Ability and willingness to travel overnight as needed
- Ability and comfort with working onsite at hospitals
- Computer literacy and knowledge of Google Workspace required; CRM familiarity preferred
Education/Training
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience within nonprofit, music industry, radio, healthcare, or related field(s)
- Experience in a healthcare setting, knowledge of HIPAA and infection control policies is preferred
