Job Description
Musicians On Call (MOC) delivers live and recorded music to the bedsides of patients in healthcare environments. The Fundraising Coordinator is responsible for supporting the Chief Development Officer and the Development department, which includes the execution of fundraising campaigns and events, researching, identifying and cultivating new donors, managing stewardship, and tracking and reporting on fundraising results.
The Fundraising Coordinator is a full-time position in Nashville with a starting annual salary of $45,000. The role will report to the Chief Development Officer and is projected to start on January 13, 2025.
Responsibilities
- Handles all donor inbound calls, payments and invoicing
- Assist with quarterly VIP donor videos, newsletters and other communications
- Appropriate stewardship as directed, as donations are made or as circumstances require
- Assist with the collection of outstanding donations
- Execute mailings
- Execute and evaluate annual donor survey
- Create and execute a calendar of engagement with personalized outreach for individual fundraising campaigns
- Monitor and report fundraising activity across all fundraising platforms
- Co-lead registration at MOC events
- Take donations over the phone and at events
- Manage all external donor platforms
- Monthly expense reporting
- Manage budget pipeline, department calendar, and “moves management” process
- Assist with making appointments for CDO
- Assist with stewardship and cultivation events
Minimum Qualifications Required
- Bachelor’s degree required
- 1-3 years in a professional setting is a plus
- Nonprofit experience is a plus
- Must embrace Musicians On Call’s mission and vision
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
- Knowledge and experience using Salesforce tools and applications is preferred
- Disciplined self-starter who can set and achieve goals
- Ability to prioritize projects, meet deadlines, manage several projects simultaneously and work well under pressure
- Some travel required
