Musicians On Call Honored with Silver at 4th Annual Anthem Awards

Musicians On Call (MOC) is proud to announce that it has been honored at the 4th Annual Anthem Awards, receiving a Silver Award in the Education, Art & Culture Event category for its Anthems of Healing 25th Anniversary Celebration. Winners were announced on November 19, 2024, recognizing MOC’s dedication to delivering the healing power of music to patients, families, and caregivers in healthcare environments.

The Anthems of Healing event, held on May 22, 2024 at Marathon Music Works in Nashville, Tennessee, marked a 25-year milestone of MOC’s impact. Supporters and community leaders came together to celebrate the songs and stories that have touched over one million people in hospitals. The event raised over $380,000 to expand MOC’s mission and featured performances by Trisha Yearwood, Wynonna Judd, Charles Esten, Tiera Kennedy, and more. Honorees included Kelsea Ballerini, who received the Music Heals Golden Ukulele, recognizing her time spent visiting with patients and caregivers in hospitals. Longtime supporter Rondal Richardson received the Leadership in Music Golden Ukulele for more than 10 years of championing MOC’s mission in Nashville and nationwide.

The Anthem Awards, now in their 4th year, received over 2,300 submissions from 44 countries in 2024, making this recognition a significant achievement for MOC. The awards celebrate purpose-driven work across a range of social impact categories, including Education, Art & Culture, Health, and Humanitarian Action.

This marks the third consecutive year that MOC has been recognized by the Anthem Awards, further highlighting its continued efforts to bring live and recorded music to healthcare facilities nationwide.
