Musicians On Call Raises $280k At Last Night’s Event Honoring Elvis Duran In New York City

Musicians On Call honored Elvis Duran, host of the #1 syndicated morning radio program Elvis Duran and the Morning Show last night. Elvis was honored with the Leadership in Music “Golden Ukulele” during a special intimate event at The Edison Ballroom that also included performances by multi-Platinum selling recording artist Demi Lovato, Hollywood Records recording artist Bea Miller and Interscope recording artist Leon Else. “Musicians On Call Presents: A Night To Celebrate Elvis Duran” raised $280K for MOC to continue to deliver the healing power of music to patients across the country.

The event paid tribute to the iHeartRadio host who has supported MOC for over a decade and included guest appearances by Rosanna Scotto, Dr. Oz and his radio co-hosts Danielle Monaro, Bethany Watson and Greg T. The event also honored MOC Volunteer Musician Ken Knowlton and Volunteer Guide Karen Cook for their ongoing support of the healing power of music.

“It’s a privilege to recognize Elvis Duran for all he’s done to support Musicians On Call for over a decade,” said MOC President Pete Griffin. “Thanks to the support of last night’s sponsors and donors, we can continue to deliver the healing power of music to more patients across the country.”

MOC is continuing its ”MOC Moments” campaign that gives volunteers and supporters the opportunity to share their stories of their favorite moments bringing music to hospitals using #MOCMoments, and helped to raise funds and support for MOC serve the next half a million people.
